Deluxe Fruit Salad - Retail Packs
CA Fruit Products are marketed under the "Fruit Festival" label for retail purposes. Fruit Salad contains the following mixture of fruit - pineapple, orange, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, seedless grapes, (watermelon is optional). All retail products are coded best until for 30 days from the date of production, assuming this product is kept refrigerated at 1 - 3 degrees celsius at all times.

MERCHANDISING

We recommend displaying "Fruit Festival" Fruit Products in a refrigerated enviroment (1-3 degrees celsius) and in an upright position. Please note that a 5 degree celsius increase in temperature for only 30 minutes will result in a decrease of 7 days in shelf life. We cannot stress enough the importance of keeping the product at 1-3 degrees celsius at all times. Merchandising fruit products beside refrigerated fruit juices (e.g. Tropicana) and dairy products (yogurts and cottage cheese are great compliments) has proven successful in many of the stores currently lisitng our products. Point of sale materials are available for encouraging increased products movement.
